Seed priming BBSRC project grant

Our lab was awarded a BBSRC funded project,led by Wanda Waterworth, to understand the molecular mechanisms that underpin seed priming and the importance of genome repair, both during priming and in maintaining the longevity of primed seeds. Priming is a commercial treatment that improves germination and adds considerable value to the UK and international seed industry.
